It is reported that the cultivation of single champion enterprises in China's manufacturing industry has been ongoing since 2016. Currently, seven batches of national single champion enterprises have been cultivated, and the national "14th Five Year Plan" outlines that cultivating single champion enterprises in the manufacturing industry will be included in the strategy of building a strong manufacturing country. Our city has implemented the "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Cultivation and Development of High Quality Manufacturing Enterprises" issued by six departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. From the first four batches, a total of six national single champion enterprises were selected, with a single batch selection ranking below 20 major cities in China. This has risen to the advanced level of 22 national single champion enterprises in the past three batches and the top 10 national key cities in a single batch selection. Currently, 28 national and 115 municipal single champion cultivation teams have been formed, covering 12 industrial chains.
In order to better cultivate high-quality manufacturing enterprises in a gradient manner, our city issued the "Several Policies and Measures for Promoting High Quality Development of the Manufacturing Industry in Tianjin" in April this year, proposing to give a one-time reward of up to 20 million yuan to enterprises included in the national list of leading enterprises in the manufacturing industry; For individual champion enterprises and products in the national manufacturing industry, a one-time reward of 10 million yuan and 3 million yuan will be given respectively. For key single champion enterprises and products cultivated in our city, a one-time reward of 1 million yuan will be given respectively; For small and medium-sized enterprises that have become the first "little giant" of national specialization, refinement, and innovation, a maximum reward of 2 million yuan will be given based on hierarchical classification.
The Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology organized a special meeting to strengthen the cultivation of COVID-19 enterprises, issuing certificates to 12 enterprises selected as the 7th batch of national manufacturing single champion, and unveiling the plaque for the Municipal Industrial and Economic Federation.
