1、 Axially stressed member
The axial force bearing member mainly refers to the member bearing axial tension or axial pressure, which is the simplest one among the members.
2、 Flexural member
Bending members are mainly subjected to bending moments and transverse forces, most of which are beams. The general section form of this member is I-shaped. There are also groove, trapezoid and Z-shape when the force is small. When the force is large, the box shape can be used. It should be noted that when calculating the structural strength of such members, not only the bending strength, but also the shear force and stability should be calculated.
3、 Eccentrically loaded member
Eccentrically stressed members generally not only suffer from axial force, but also from bending moment and transverse shear force. Eccentrically stressed members generally have two types of cross shaped and I-shaped sections. When the load is large, tubular and box shaped members can also be used. Eccentrically loaded members have many section forms, and the calculation is more difficult than the first two members, that is, to calculate the strength, but also to check the stability.
The main components of high-rise steel structures are beams and columns. Obviously, the section forms of beams and columns also vary greatly, and there are quite a variety of types. For composite section, it is only limited to welded composite section according to the current structure development. Composite sections can generally be divided into two categories, one is the section composed of section steel, and the other is the composite section composed of section steel and steel plate or completely composed of steel plate. In the welding structure, the composite section composed entirely of steel plates has great flexibility. For designers, it is very convenient to choose this composite section, whether it is the external dimension or the section form of the component.
