It is prohibited to forcefully lift objects without inspection, such as estimating their weight, thoroughly cutting, increasing the load on dismantled parts due to compression, and connecting parts.
4. Eliminate erroneous operations
The lifting operation of steel pipes is different from many constructions, involving a large area and often using different units and types of cranes. Factors such as daily operating habits, performance, and differences in command signals can easily lead to misoperation, so special caution should be exercised.

7. Temporary lifting nose welding is not secure
If the welding strength of the temporary suspension nose is insufficient, the load increases or is impacted, which can easily lead to fracture. The force direction of the hanging nose is single. When lifting or lowering a long cylindrical object, the force direction of the hanging nose also changes with the angle of the object. However, this situation is not fully considered in the design and welding of the hanging nose, resulting in the defective hanging nose suddenly breaking (breaking) during lifting operations. The welding material of the hanging nose does not match the base material and is welded by informal welders.
8. Improper selection of lifting tools or lifting points
The establishment of lifting tools or the use of pipelines, structures, etc. as lifting points for lifting objects lacks theoretical calculation. The lifting tools or pipelines, structures, and objects estimated based on experience have insufficient bearing capacity or local bearing capacity, resulting in instability at one point and overall collapse.
9. Improper selection of pulley ropes
When setting up lifting tools, there is insufficient understanding of the changes in force on the ropes of the pulley and the tie pulley caused by changes in the angle of the fast rope. The tonnage of the guide pulley is too small, and the rope for the tie pulley is too thin. Overloading the force can cause the rope to break and the pulley to fly.
10. Unreasonable selection of unloaded lifting rigging
There are many accidents that occur in this way. The lifting work has already ended, and when the hook is running with an empty rope, the free state of the lifting rope hangs and pulls the lifted object or other objects that have been unhooked. If the driver or commander of the operation does not respond in a timely manner, the accident occurs instantly, and this type of accident has very adverse consequences for operators and cranes.
