Rush out of the steel siege
Jinghai District has been a hot topic of public opinion due to the frequent occurrence of environmental problems, and many environmental protection old accounts such as "scattered pollution" enterprises.
In 2017, during the first round of environmental protection supervision by the central government, many environmental problems represented by "steel siege" in Jinghai District were named, which paid a heavy price for extensive development.
In 2020, the second round of environmental protection inspectors from the central government will conduct a comprehensive "physical examination" of Jinghai District again. The severity and number of environmental problems pointed out this time have been significantly reduced, and some practices have also been recognized by the inspection team.
Why is the change so significant? The consensus of Jinghai people that "green determines life and death" is behind the exploration of "ecological foundation".
In terms of ecological and environmental protection, Jinghai District accounts for big accounts, long-term accounts, overall accounts and comprehensive accounts, which can be summed up as political accounts. Vigorously implement the three-year special action of "Jinghai Clean Project" to ensure the environmental ecological cleanness with political ecological cleanness.
There is Daqiuzhuang Villa in Jinghai. After a period of abnormal and rapid development, the structural contradictions accumulated over a long period of time, such as the old industrial structure, the limited space for industrial development, and the serious pollution of regional ecological environment, have become increasingly prominent.

Under the "environmental storm", Yuantai Derun accelerated its transformation and upgrading. "The transformation and upgrading of steel pipe enterprises is really difficult, but in the face of high environmental governance costs, limited industrial development space and other development bottlenecks, it is the only way to eliminate backward production capacity, extend the industrial chain, and increase the added value of products." Gao Shucheng, the chairman of the company, told reporters.
In recent years, Daqiuzhuang Town has closed down and banned nearly 30 "scattered and dirty" enterprises. The market space vacated has been filled by enterprises with environmental protection standards and advanced technology, realizing the transformation of industry from "black" to "green".
In the production workshop of Tianjin Yuantai Derun Steel Pipe Group Co., Ltd., a domestic manufacturer of structural welded steel pipes with a saturated capacity of 10 million tons, the reporter saw that each production line has basically realized intellectualization and cleaning. Yuantai Derun has invested 600 million yuan in environmental protection treatment and equipment upgrading; Increase investment in scientific and technological research and development, and master more than 100 patented technological inventions.
Eliminating backward production capacity and upgrading traditional industries are only the basis of "industrial breakthrough". To thoroughly gnaw down this "hard bone" and move towards high-quality development, we need to build a new industrial highland.
Create ecological green face

By the Ziya River, it is the water transport terminal of Jinghai in the old days. More than 30 years ago, local people traveled all over the country, found business opportunities from the scrap metal they collected, "panned for gold" in the waste wires and household appliances, and started the workshop type dismantling of waste household appliances. Nobody expected that this became the starting point of Jinghai's circular economy.
Ziya Economic and Technological Development Zone is the only national development zone dominated by circular economy.
In recent years, they have implemented "circle management" and strengthened environmental constraints; Eliminate backward productive forces and solve the problem of small scattered areas; Introduce strategic emerging industries and expand the market of new energy vehicles; To build a circular economy in the automobile industry and lay out the whole industrial chain... From the scattered workshops to the national circular economy park, Ziya River witnessed the new and old changes of Jinghai.
At the Greenland (Tianjin) Urban Mineral Recycling Industry Development Co., Ltd., Zhu Pengyun, the administrative personnel manager, introduced to the reporter that scrapped cars are a rich mine of renewable resources. The total investment of Greenland is 1.2 billion yuan, extending the scrapped car disassembly and processing and scrap metal disassembly and other industries.
Not only in Greenland, but also in the disassembly and processing plants in Ziya Park, you can't see the dust and hear the noise. The park can digest 1.5 million tons of waste mechanical and electrical equipment, waste electrical appliances, waste cars and waste plastics every year to provide downstream enterprises with renewable copper, aluminum, iron and other resources.
It is understood that the park can process 1.5 million tons of renewable resources annually, save 5.24 million tons of standard coal annually, save 1.66 million tons of carbon dioxide, 100000 tons of sulfur dioxide and 1.8 million tons of oil.
Restoration of water system wetland
Standing on the north bank of Tuanpo Lake, you can see the river flowing quietly. It is an important part of the ecological corridor "Baiyangdian - Duliujian River - Beidagang Wetland - Bohai Bay".
Jinghai is just on this central axis. According to the Ecological Function Zoning of Tianjin, Tuanpo Wetland echoes the Dahuangbao and Qilihai natural wetlands in the north of Tianjin, connects with the water system of Xiong'an New Area and Binhai New Area, and becomes an important ecological node on the Xiongbin Corridor.
According to the protection and restoration standards of Baiyangdian Lake in Xiong'an New District, Jinghai District continued to strengthen ecological restoration efforts, and 57.83 square kilometers of land were included in the ecological protection red line of Tianjin. Since 2018, Jinghai District has completed 470 million cubic meters of ecological water replenishment and continued to carry out afforestation projects.
Today, Tuanbo Lake has been identified as Tianjin Wetland and Bird Nature Reserve, listed in the "China Wetland Nature Reserve List", and honored as "the lung of Beijing and Tianjin".
Through the implementation of a series of ecological protection and restoration projects such as water system management, restoration of degraded wetlands, and return of fishing to wetland, the ecological conservation function and biodiversity of wetlands are gradually restored. Today, 164 species of birds, including white storks, black storks, swans, mandarin ducks, egrets, live and breed here.
The economic benefits brought by good ecology are also gradually emerging. In April of each year, a grand "Begonia Culture Festival" is held in the forest to attract many citizens to enjoy. From the farm on the bank of the Heilonggang River to the Tianying Farm on the kilometer-long road, and then to the Zhongyan Pleurotus eryngii base in the Linhai Park, the economy under the forest has developed rapidly, and the forest edible fungi, free-range poultry, vegetables, etc. have become the characteristic industries in the Linhai Demonstration Zone, driving farmers to become rich.
A lake is clear, with layers of forests and emerald trees, forming an ecological pattern of "East Lake and West Forest", which not only infiltrates the whole Jincheng, but also builds an ecological base for high-quality development of Jinghai.
