The 63rd United Nations General Assembly resolution in 2009 designated April 22nd as World Earth Day. From environmental initiatives on American campuses in the 1970s to widespread global influence today, World Earth Day aims to raise awareness of humanity's love for the Earth and the protection of their homes. On this particular day, we have launched the following environmental action initiatives, hoping that through these practical actions, we can better understand how to cherish the earth.
No.1 Signature Bottle Handwriting Bottle
China is the country with the largest population in the world. However, per capita water resources are one of the most scarce regions in the world. If the per capita water ownership of the world is one bottle of water. Every Chinese person only has 1/4 bottle. But even this quarter is often discarded by people.
Cheil Jaer's advertisement observed that in China, a large amount of mineral water is wasted after every group activity. This is not because people lack the willingness to save water, but many people often forget which bottle is their own! Of course, people also try to identify their bottles using various methods! For example, tearing off the bottle label; Investing in things, but often confusing and causes waste.
Here, the people of Yuantai propose to write their name on the endless water bottle, take it away, drink it, and ensure that our water resources are saved to the maximum extent possible.
No.2 Deforested Field
Every minute in the world, a large area of forest is cut down, and those lands that have lost their forests will eventually become deserts. It is said that in Brazil, every 4 minutes, a forest the size of a football field is cut down. People around the world sometimes do not realize how urgent environmental issues are. Forests are the lungs of the earth, please cherish our precious forest resources. Once again, the Yantai people have issued an initiative to stop logging and protect forests. At the same time, steel is also a good green building material that can be recycled. Please let go of those forests.
No.3 Fragile Friend
Since 1850, 130 species of birds and mammals have become extinct, and 656 species of animals are on the brink of extinction. Statistical data shows that there is now a species disappearing every hour on Earth.
Based on the understanding that 'animals are fragile', animals are also fragile! The Yuantai people call on children and parents not to consume wild animals, not to purchase fur and wildlife products, and to cherish animals and birds.
No.4 Recycling Bin with Unlimited Potential
Whether in China, the United States, or any other country in the world, the recycling of old materials has unlimited potential. Imagine how wonderful it would be if billions of people were not abandoning those cardboard boxes and plastic products, wasting those metal products, and recycling them all at the same time. Yuantai people hope that everyone can join the action of garbage sorting and waste recycling, making the sky bluer and the water greener.
